  Hi,
  I was referred to Dr Melhem for help with trying to conceive with PCOS.
  I had 3 appointments with Dr Melhem over the course of 2017.
  Each appointment was no more than 5-10 minutes and cost me hundreds of dollars.
  Each time I asked a question she provided some very basic information or told me what websites to look at for answers. She always seemed eager to get me out the door and have the next patient in. I walked away from each appointment feeling confused and extremely unsupported.
  I finally made the decision to pay for a second opinion because the more I read, the more I realised it was unusual and unwise to go on ovulation inducing drugs without any monitoring for months on end.
  Going to a new doctor has been the best decision and I wish I did it sooner. My new specialist spent over one hour with me during our first appointment and arranged a plan with me which included regular monitoring. I really wish that I started with this doctor in the first place and didn't waste one year and hundreds of dollars on Dr Melhem.
  Any ladies out there with PCOS/ struggling TTC I do not recommend Dr Melhem. She won't provide the level of support you need and you will waste a lot of time and money with her. It seems that she is more concerned about $$ for herself than really helping her patients.
